A senior HR manager is responsible for overseeing HR processes such as talent acquisition programs, employee payroll management, HR policy development, and other crucial processes in an organization’s HR department. Moreover, a senior HR manager is responsible for contributing to developing a better and healthier work environment for all employees in an organization.

Responsibilities

A typical senior HR manager is expected to:

  • Identify the department’s objectives and goals for the human resource teams to work on
  • Track the progress of how a team and a strategy to target the HR objectives are performing
  • Research, develop, and implement such HR policies and organizational strategies that boost and improve the work environment for employees
  • Works on the development and implementation of employee benefits and compensation plans
  • Analyze the performance metrics of a recruitment drive and provide insights and suggestions to improve the HR recruitment process
  • Works and attends in-house recruitment drives to attract the right talent for business needs
  • Collaborate with junior HR managers and discusses the employee career progression and paths
  • Analyze HR statistics and metrics like employee performance, turnover, retention, and cost per hire rate
  • Work and define the budget for HR programs
  • Maintain the law and ensure that the processes comply with the federal and state laws
Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resource or business management
  • 5 years of proven experience as a junior HR manager
  • Exceptional human resources management skills
Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified HR professional with a specialization in human resources or people management
  • Proven hands-on experience with using digital HR tools and software
  • Complete understanding and familiarity with human resource management software and tools like application tracking systems, payroll management systems, and talent acquisition tools
  • Sound knowledge of federal and state labor laws for HR
  • Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Excellent mentorship and leadership skills
  • Proven experience in bringing out healthy employee relations
  • Sound knowledge of employee benefits and compensation plans
  • Ensure legal compliance
  • Complete know-how of talent recruitment processes and employee benefits programs
Compensation: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
